Since 1909 the Leader of the Greek market
Air Liquide Hellas came to Greece on 5th June 1909, establishing in Faliro an oxygen and acetylene production unit. The name of the first company was "The Oxygene AEBA". Ever since Air Liquide Hellas has been the undisputable leader of the industrial and medical gases market in Greece, contributing to the development of the country itself.
A country's development index is also based in its industrial sector's gas consumption. Air Liquide Hellas, currently operating 3 primary production units (Athens, Thessaloniki, Florina), 3 filling centers (Athens, Thessaloniki) and 3 stores for its Healthcare customers (Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina) and disposing an expanded network of collaborators, has significantly contributed to the development of Greece and is capable to respond to all its customers' requests at no matter which area in Greece they are located. It has a total of 350 units installed in its clients' plants and it can also supply large industries with great quantities of gases through pipeline.
