Air Liquide Hellas products applied in the food and beverage industry are ISO 22000 (HACCP) certified.  Furthermore the Healthcare sector and its subsidiaries in the Homecare sector are ISO 13485 and ΔΥ/1348/2004 certified.  Air Liquide Hellas' sites and operations are conform to a common indutrial management system of safety and liability according to the international group's specifications. 

Air Liquide Hellas' safety policy is directly linked to the environmental protection since in Air Liquide we thing that a quality product is the one that adds value to our customer and DOES NOT contribute to the environmental pollution. 

Air Liquide has a dual way of dealing with this issue:  it ameliorates its production by saving energy, simultaneously supporting its industrial customers to produce "clean" wastes.

Air Liquide's activities do not pollute since it uses air as its primary material.  However, the air separation demands energy consumption.  For this reason Air Liquide uses energy efficient methods that eliminate the energy consumption. 

As far as its clientel is concerned, environmental preservance is one of the main development axes of its 8 research and development centers around the world.  Depending on its customers' activities Air Liquide is focussed on ameliorating the production procedures and the treatment of all kinds of wastes and by-products. 

Some examples:  Usage of oxygen diminishes 7 times the smoke coming from waste burning, Hydrogen is used for the deflurazition of fossils, Ozon replaces chlorion in the whitening of the paper bulb....
