Air Liquide Hellas supports the 1st Panarsakiako Students’ Chemistry Convention

Proving its commitment to innovation, Air Liquide Hellas, actively contributes to the actions of the academic community of Greece by supporting the 1st Panarsakiako Students’ Chemistry Convention.

Air Liquide Hellas sponsored to the convention all the necessary gases (hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, argon, methane) in properly equipped cylinders for the necessary experiments performed . The event, that took place from 2nd to 4th December, was organized by “Arsakia-Tositsia” schools with the support of the British Council, The Athens University – Chemistry Department and the Greek Chemists Federation.

The future development of technology is one of the growth drivers of Air Liquide who supports innovation by investing, in order to create the solutions of tomorrow. The today’s students can become the tomorrow’s inventors who will contribute to the shaping of the world and Air Liquide is committed to their support.
The convention focused on subjects regarding: Chemistry and Nutrition, Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in Technology and Chemistry in Life and aimed at the students to realize that science has been and will be the backbone for the development of technological research. At the same time, it helped students to understand processes that are at the basis of the technological evolution by offering them the pleasure of being involved in scientific experiments.
